This research topic belongs to the research areas BioSignal Analysis and Affective Computing.

The projects in this area are aimed at studying the relationship between emotion and cognition in a human-computer system. Since emotion influences the behavior, we believe that from the analysis of the interaction with a device it would be possible to discriminate the user emotional state.

The Automatic Emotions Recognition group has now a website: emoticaLab. Find out any information about research topics, products and news about our world.
