Personal info
I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, since January 2007 in the Artificial Intelligence field (PhD Cycle: XXII).
My main research areas regard signal classification and recognition, with particular emphasis to the Olfactory Signal Processing and Brain Computer Interfaces fields.
In October 2006 I received a Msc in Telecommunications Engineering - Signal Processing from the Politecnico di Milano. The master thesis proposed a tool to diagnose lung cancer by the analysis of the olfactory signal acquired through an electronic nose. I received a Bsc from the Politecnico di Milano in Telecommunications Engineering, in March 2004, with a thesis titled “Genomic Signal Processing: identification of exons in DNA sequences by an analysis in the frequency domain”.
