Some of the smaller robots at AIRLab, most of which used for Robogames, mount Arduino Uno boards. Internet, in particular the cited site, are plenty of tutorials to use such boards.
Specific issues faced at AIRLab are listed here below.
- When using Arduino Uno to control motors (through a motor shield), we have to power the shield with appropriate power supply, dimensioned w.r.t. the power required by the motors. The Arduino board only supplies 40mA per line.
