We worked on the construction of a table pet robot that can provide children with motor disabilities the opportunity to play without limitations. The project consisted of software implementation and hardware planning for a period of about 5 months. Final result is a play that involves a simple movement routine (inspired by Pet Therapy) characterized as pretend play; it consists of 6 steps: -sleeping condition; -activation; -research stage; -touch phase; -nutrition stage; -reset. Its purpose is to get the user involved both physically and emotionally, despite some shortcomings in functioning and repetitiveness.
