This is a RobogameDesign project, aimed at implementing a sort of drone that points a laser to the Jedi trainee, who has to intercept the laser beam with the sword.
The inspiration comes from the second movie of the original Star Wars Trilogy (The Empire Strikes Back), where Luke Skywalker is trained by Yoda using such a system, and also from the film Dune where Paul Atreides is trained in a similar way.
A first project JediRobot Training 1.0 was done by Matteo Sancini and Stefano Ruschetta, and, in parallel Jedi Robot Training 2.0, by Adrien Servier and Andrea Nicotra.
Currently, Diego Martinoia e Daniele Calandriello are working at a new version (Jedi Robot Training 3.0), improving the drone and its behavior. A real flying drone is about to be acquired.
