This is a RobogameDesign project within the Highly Interactive Robogames effort, aimed at implementing a sort of drone that points a laser to the Jedi trainee, who has to intercept the laser beam with the sword.
The inspiration comes from the first movie of the original Star Wars Trilogy (Episode IV - A new hope), where Luke Skywalker is trained by Obi One Kenobi using such a system, and also from the movie Dune where Paul Atreides is trained in a similar way.
A first project JediRobot Training 1.0 was done by Matteo Sancini and Stefano Ruschetta, and, in parallel Jedi Robot Training 2.0, by Adrien Servier and Andrea Nicotra.
Diego Martinoia and Daniele Calandriello developed new version (Jedi Robot Training 3.0), improving the drone and its behavior. A real, flying drone (A.R.Parrot Drone) has been used.
